As i live in asia iam always downloading illegal movies and software from american and UK sites surely the Authorities in the USA and the UK have no jurisdiction whatsoever to prosecute me.

no but the company can sue you for thousands of dollars for doing it and most countries applyitas illegal and can/will prosecute you if they find out and depending on country you can get 6 months+ and alot of money fined
